It's not actually polite...

I get so tired of people acting like they care about being polite, then proceeding to be rude. So many people these days have forgotten how to actually use their manners. They go halfway through the motions, then decide to give up and be assholes anyway. In short, JUST BECAUSE YOU STARTED OUT BEING POLITE DOESN'T MEAN IT'S POLITE TO DO SOMETHING RUDE.

Saying excuse me DOES NOT make it okay to push someone aside. If you say excuse me, JUST WAIT FOR THEM TO MOVE.

Knocking is not effective if you're just gonna open the door without waiting for a response. When you knock, DON'T ASSUME IT'S OKAY TO GO IN UNTIL THE PERSON INSIDE GIVES YOU A CLEAR SIGN THAT IT IS, OR INVITES YOU IN.

Just because you ask to borrow or use something of someone else's DOES NOT mean the answer is yes. Simply asking doesn't entitle you to just taking it. WAIT FOR THEM TO SAY YES OR NO. IF THEY SAY YES, YOU CAN GO AHEAD. IF THEY SAY NO, DEAL WITH IT.

I just hate that on top of all the other issues going on in the world, people have decided manners don't matter anymore. If you're not going to go the full length to be polite, don't bother being polite at all. It comes across even more rude if you only do it half-right, because then you look like an inconsiderate, presumptuous ASSHOLE.

Fave this stamp if you believe we should make an effort to ressurect the manners we all deserve to be treated with.

Edit: Since some people clearly don't get it and see fit to act like I need their approval, I would like to make a comment. I'm not trying to change how people act, nor do I think this stamp will do so. I made it to make a point. That's ALL.

Also, if you disagree, you're welcome to say so as long as you're polite. But don't be like the other idiots who've commented and spout a bunch of crap at me about how I'm not going to change anything and all that. Don't bother commenting at all if all you're going to do is bitch.
